"STALIN" FUNCTION DETAILS !
Lalitakalatoranam today witnessed two grand events - audio release of Stalin and Chiranjeevi birthday. More than 20,000 fans from across the state attended the event. Unfortunately, the venue could not accomodate all and some of the fans had to stand out. Even then, they participated in the event from outside itself. Some of them found walls, trees and near by buildings to watch the event.
Police had to pull out the latis occasionally to keep the crowd in control. Fortunately, all they did with latis were to show and not use them. (There were strict orders on not using them on fans, said a source).
Celebrities who attended the event included Stalin film unit, D Suresh Babu, B Gopal, Paruchuri, MLK Chowdary, KC Sekhar Babu, Sunil and others. MAA TV telecasted the celebrations from 3 in the afternoon.
"Terastar" Ramcharan
Chiranjeevi's son Ramcharan Teja is the special attraction at this event. Ramcharan was termed Terastar in this function. He made his entry on to the state along with Allu Arjun and they both bowed to the audience.
Sunil - No one can dance with me
Sunil danced for Aaj Ka Goondaraj's No One can dance with me song. This is the highlight of the cultural events and he said that if one can take Megastar as inspiration, their life is bound to reach heights.
Honored
Honored are Nerella Venumadhav (noted mimicry artist) and 10th class toppers of this year.
Gajal Srinivas, Masterji songs
Gajal Srinivas and Masterji sang special songs written for this occassion. Allu Arjun spoke on this occassion and got huge response from the fans by taking slogans on Megastar.
Pawan Kalyan released the audio
Pawan Kalyan gave out the Allu Ramalingayya award to Dharmavarapu Subramanyam. Incidentally, this is the 25th film of Paruchuri's dialogs for Chiranjeevi. They were also honored by Pawan Kalyan. He also gave out momentos to blood donors. Finally, speaking about Chiranjeevi, Pawan said, "Every one knows that Chiranjeevi is always the front runner when it comes to social service and that explains why there is so huge turnout at this event. I am lost for words to explain my feelings".
Pawan Kalyan then released the audio of Stalin and gave out the first copy to Nimmagadda Prasad and the second one to MAA TV chairman Muralikrishnam Raju. Audio is released through Aditya and the cassettes will hit the stores tomorrow.
Paruchuri's words
Paruchuri termed Nagendra Babu, Pawan Kalyan, Allu Arjun and Crores of fans as Rakshakadalam for Ramcharan Teja. He pointed at a picture of Chiranjeevi and said that Chiranjeevi is thiking about his next step. "Blood bank is achieved, Padmabushan is done too.. What is his next step? It is us.. ", he stopped abruptly.
Trisha wished Chiranjeevi happy birthday. Chiru then announced that he is giving the launching of his son Ramcharan Teja to Aswini Dutt. He then added that "People might wonder why Aswini Dutt and why not Nagendra Babu and Allu Aravind. Aswini Dutt is a very good friend and I am sure he will guide Ramcharan in the right direction. Puri Jagannath will direct this venture. I hope that Ramcharan will be liked by one and all. "
Songs from Stalin were played for the audience. MAA TV then played a documentary that is titled Chiranjeeva Sukheebhava. Chiranjeevi cut the birthday cake amidst the children who are suffering from AIDS.
Chiranjeevi's word
Chiranjeevi first saluted his parents and then thanked his film makers, technicians and the media. Then he went on to explain why the HIV AIDS effected kids are on the dias. "They are innocent. They dont need our sympathy but our love and affection. No medicene can cure their illness but it is our support to those kids that will make them strong", said Chiranjeevi. "I took on this mission a while ago after listening to the story of an innocent girl. Then Richard Gere came to India with his Heroes project and I contributed my part. I can do any thing with your support. I need your support even in this case. Chiranjeevi fans have a special purpose. They are social workers too", added Chiranjeevi with pride.
Talking about Stalin, Chiranjeevi said, "This is a film that has a message and is entertaining at the same time. All my films so far are one step and this one is a total different step. Murugodass did a wonderful job and Manisharma gave excellent music. (Maa vallu hoonam ayyela dance cheyyinchali ante alanti tunes vundalsinde). Chota K Naidu did a fantastic job with his camera".
Talking about Trisha, he added, "She is beautiful and brings lot of activeness in the sets. I kind of get an exciting feeling looking at her and you will too", said Chiru.
Chiru explained why Pawan released the cassette - "I told him to release the cassette and he asked me why me? I had to tell him that wherever I go, people are enquiring about you and you got to come to the function. Thanks to Pawan".
Finally he said, Ramcharan is now in the hands of Aswini Dutt and it is up to the fans to take care of him after his launch. He once again emphasized the need for social work from his fans.
